Max Ritz Travels to New Zealand to Promote Lacrosse

Former University of Maryland attackmen, and current West Coast Starz Coach Max Ritz just returned from a weeklong tour of New Zealand. During his travels throughout the North Island, Max put on a series of demos and clinics to players of all ages in a trip aimed to expand the growth of the sport in the country. Aside from several school sponsored clinics, Max had the opportunity to work with the New Zealand National team, offering some coaching expertise and suiting up for some workouts. "The Kiwis take their sporting culture very seriously, so lacrosse was well received." Ritz said. "It was exhilarating to introduce the game to so many people in such little time.
