The mission of The Starz Foundation is
to broadly support the development of lacrosse in the
western U.S. by reaching under-served communities to
introduce schools as well as individuals to a much
needed alternative sports program. In addition
to growth, The Foundation will support student-athletes
pursuit of their lacrosse and collegiate goals.

We
believe that a well-rounded student athlete leading
a well-balanced life, including: education, fitness,
community service and passion will be most prepared
for their college experience and ultimately success
in life. We also believe that lacrosse at the
elite level creates a positive, motivating passion
at a critical time in these players' lives.
The Starz Foundation was founded by Scott Hochstadt,
three-time All-American Attackman at the University
of Maryland, who played professional lacrosse in the
Major League Lacrosse (MLL) and National Lacrosse League
(NLL).
The Starz
Foundation is a recognized non-profit organization
with 501 (c)
(3) status. Therefore, funding comes in the
form
of donations to provide programs, services, scholarships
and equipment. If you would like to become a supporter:
